Permanent Outdoor Lighting in Lacombe, AB

North of Red Deer on the QE2, with a downtown worth lighting properly.

About Lacombe

Lacombe has one of the best-preserved main streets in Alberta, and it has made the town careful about how things look. That carries over into the residential streets, where the older homes near the centre have detail — brackets, porches, gable trim — that most modern builds simply do not.

That detail is worth lighting well and easy to light badly. On a house with real architectural character, a system that traces every available line at full brightness looks like a fairground. The better answer is usually restraint: pick the two or three lines that describe the shape of the house, run a warm white, and stop. We design for that on site, and we will tell you when we think less is the right call.

The newer subdivisions on the edges of town are a different exercise — bigger, simpler elevations where a full run reads as intended rather than busy.

Twenty minutes up the QE2 from Red Deer, on the route we run every week. If something needs attention in February, we come.

Common questions

Before you book

How much does it cost?

Every home is different — corners, peaks, and lengths change the design, so we price each project individually and give you one fixed written quote. The design visit and quote are free, with no obligation.

How long does installation take?

Most residential installations are completed in about a day, depending on the size and design of your home. We confirm your timeline with your quote.

Does it work in Alberta winters?

It's built for year-round outdoor use, and winter is exactly when you'll use it most. We design and install with snow, ice, and our freeze-thaw swings in mind.

Who does the installation?

Trained professional crews install every system, and Antler Home Lighting remains your single point of contact from design visit to warranty service.

Do you offer payment options?

Ask your design consultant about payment options during your visit — we'll walk you through what's available for your project. There's nothing to pay online, and nothing to pay before you've accepted a written quote.
